Technology and application of PVC shrink film:
2024-11-25 14:38PVC shrink film is a thermoplastic film that is stretched and oriented during the production process and is contracted by heat during use. The heat shrinkage of film was applied as early as 1936, and it was initially mainly used to shrink and wrap perishable foodstuffs with plastic films. Nowadays, PVC shrink film production technology has evolved to the point where almost plastic shrink film can be used to package a variety of goods. Recently, new application areas have been developed.
The application of production technology and PVC shrink film usually uses extrusion blow molding or extrusion casting method to produce thick film, and then longitudinal and transverse stretching is carried out at a high elastic temperature above the softening temperature and below the melting temperature, or only stretching in one direction, and not stretching in the other direction, the former is called biaxial stretch shrink film, and the latter is called unidirectional shrink film. When used, when it is greater than or close to the stretching temperature, it can reliably shrink to wrap the packaged goods.
